CompTIA Network+ Certification
Like the A+ Certification, the Network+ Certification is also by CompTIA. Unlike the A+ however, the Network+ is the basis for network fundamentals. It is the “theory” test.
Those that pass the Network+ exam have demonstrated a broad knowledge of computer networks. This certification is nonproprietary and covers a little of a lot of operating systems. This is popular among employers, who like to see a more diversified employee.
Those planning to pursue other certifications such as the Novell CNE, Microsoft MCSE, or Cisco CCNA, will find this exam very helpful towards that end.
